TikTok and The Chinese Communist Party

I haven't held forth on this particular story because I gave up trying to explain the issues around legislation and technology.

Nobody seemed to take anything I said on board. There are several issues here, which are:

  1. National Security
  2. Basic Human Rights, including Freedom of Expression and Privacy
  3. Communications and Computer Systems Monopolies and  Cartels
  4. Economics and Free Exchange of Ideas
It's interesting that they break down roughly into the four elements of Princess Basmah bint Saud's Fourth Way Law. I'll try talking this through on an audio recording and add it here.
