I haven't held forth on this particular story because I gave up trying to explain the issues around legislation and technology.
Nobody seemed to take anything I said on board. There are several issues here, which are:

- Basic Human Rights, including Freedom of Expression and Privacy
- Communications and Computer Systems Monopolies and Cartels
- Economics and Free Exchange of Ideas
