    Five Common Notions:

    1. Things each equal to another ting are things equal to each other.
    2. When equal things are added to equal things the wholes are equal things.
    3. When equal things are taken away from equal things the remainders are equal tings.
    4. Things coincident are equal things.
    5. The whole is greater than the parts.

    I didn't need to explain that in full, did I? Of course not!
