Impressive machine. Curious fact: there was only one building in Cambridge destroyed by a German bomb during WWII, by accident, apparently. It was a house in Grant Hester Walk. But the bridge in Great Abington, the village where I lived near Cambridge, was bombed deliberately and destroyed. See Books And Music.

The  Loop Fire was a firefighting accident in the Angeles National Forest (see  10,000 Acres of San Gabriel Mountain Forest Gone Up In Smoke ) that claimed the lives of a dozen firefighters in November 1966.  The day after the disaster a comprehensive study was ordered and you get the results here . It's a quite impressive piece of work and it is still being used half a century later to train firefighters. But an investigation like this should have been ordered after every major forest fire, regardless of whether or not it involved fatalities . My problems with Jeanine Añez stem from 14th November 2019, see  Polly on Bolivia  and  MAS Demonstrations In Support of Evo Morales : The next day, the local paper reported 8 people were killed and over a hundred injured in protests in Sacaba, a few km from where I was sitting when I posted that video the day before. Jeanine Añez was President at the time, and still is, but she either cannot or will not speak with me, just like Evo Morales and Alvaro Garcia Linera.  I have been trying for over eleven years to help the people of people of Bolivia, and I have never had so much as acknowledgement of my existence from any of them, unless you count the Direcion General de Migración deleting my file as an acknowledgement of my existence.
