Big Tex Backlash Just Beginning

Well, today seems to be a day for deliberate thinkos ... See NYTs OnTech Newsletter:

About half an hour after sending them this feedback, mentioning Abolish Silicon Valley by Wendy Liu review – rebooting our reality
Wendy Liu's book Abolish Silicon Valley probably provided a lot of background for Democrat questions. I doubt many Conservatives read it beforehand. The problem is not particularly with silencing Conservative opinions, it is with silencing of any dissent to their dominance, especially with respect to the kind of competition that refuses to sell out. If you consider the lengths and expense Facebook went to to by IG, then imagine what they would be be prepared to spend and what lengths they would be prepared to go to to kill-off some radical underground movement that had some free software that was going to be impossible for them to control, or gain any revenue from. It doesn't bear thinking about. That's why I wanted to work with Facebook and Twitter in 2017 and I stated that publicly. They both refused the invitation, as far as I could tell. In 2018 I made a very vague proposal to YouTube which gave a rough idea of how revenue could work, and I keep getting hints that at least someone at YouTube likes the idea, but she may only be the CEO and not have any real power. Some people here seem to have a very good idea how that revenue streaming could be made to work globally. I expect the next source of resistance would be Wall St and/or The Pentagon, i.e. the British Empire.
I get this text message:
Well, if you are trying to encourage me join Facebook, I did, and I tried quite hard to find my friend Camila Rocha's FB page, which ought to have been pretty easy because she's a quite well-known person here as well as in Santa Cruz and La Paz, as I imagine is her father, ... But I couldn't. So my question for FB would be this: if you made the FB app open source, then how do you know a foreign intelligence service like the GRU or MI5/GCHQ/77th Brigade didn't modify it to redirect certain pages and request types to different servers and fragment the whole space? That's certainly what seemed to have happened here in 2017 and using it was a fucking nightmare! Sorry, but I will never, use FB, WhatsApp or IG ever again. The potential for gross human rights abuses and psy-warfare is waaaaay to high. And I will never use Android or Google apps either as soon as I have any alternative. See The User InterfaceHouse Judiciary Committee Questioning Big Tech CEOsSenate Judiciary Committee Hearing on Big Tech Abuse of Power and Lana Del Rey's Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass. Then, to see the amazing effect it had on the evolution of religion, and the billionaire who is presumably the owner of the jet Lana got a ride in, go to I Need You. So now you know what I meant when I talked about MI5 reviewing poetry in the Guardian, don't you:
The Guardian on Lana Del Rey. Here's the mail I sent yesterday:
I suppose you know what you're talking about when you write:

That means everyone — the tech companies, lawmakers and you and me — have a vested interest in getting under the hood of these big companies and seeing how they work.

This is a worthy goal — just as it was to assess the big banks after the 2008 financial crisis. Those banks also thought Congress was too clueless to question them effectively. Maybe so, but regulation came anyway.

In the case of banking this is practically impossible today. Part of the problem is that for rather a long time, I suspect at least since 1999, there has been a policy of auditors of corporate accounts not signing off on the judgement that the accounts are free of fraud. If that sounds incredible, then, well, let's just say that you are very probably in a tiny minority of all those people who know anything whatsoever about banking! The problem probably stems from two related issues, one being the practical impossibility, as far as I know, of effectively auditing the software used by large corporations, including of course, banks, to ensure that the accounts generated from their data are free of fraud. It is these accounts only which are audited. The other issue may be related to the Y2K fiasco and possible very widespread electronic fraud enabled by the panic to prepare for the imminent catastrophe of Y2K roll-over, which seems to have been deliberately manufactured, perhaps to fuel sales of hardware and software, and thereby forestall the collapse of the .com bubble, at least until the second coming of Jesus Christ the Dead Saviour and the start of World War three. In the run-up to Y2K, computer companies surely took on extra staff to inspect code and fix bugs. The resulting patches had to be distributed and many new mechanisms were put in place to do that, and those done in a rush are very likely to have had vulnerabilities, some probably deliberately introduced by contractors who had motives other than simply earning an honest living through helping .com billionaires deal with a little problem they had run into. Now when you add a few National Intelligence Agencies, all highly compromised, into the mix, and realise that they would not have been able to resist the opportunity to introduce back-doors into just about every security-critical computer system on earth, ... Well, you can see that it was not a question of whether or not there was going to be a disaster, but just when it was going to happen and precisely what form it would take. So, once this state of affairs was reached, those organisations in the know, who had stuff to hide, and that was all of them, because once you have let shit get that bad you are all about as guilty as anyone else, .... Well, they started to think about how to best hide their shit, ... And they colluded in this, through 'plausibly deniable' public communications, very probably with the help of Navajo code talkers who had experience of doing exactly this during WWII and also the Korean War.

I am not just making this story up from thin air. It's the picture I have come up with which is the only rational explanation I can offer of the history of British, American and Israeli foreign affairs since WWII.
