These are surely symptoms of dementia, but are they not also symptoms of chronic stress? I can imagine being put in the situation of having to lie about almost everything I say of any significance, for four years and eventually ending up like Biden, once I've realised that nothing I say makes any damned difference at all.

28:48 No. What he said there 27:45 didn't seem at all creepy to me, until you put it in a context of other stuff that I had never heard of before. That was unfair. He was talking to an audience he felt relaxed with and there was no sign of cognitive impairment whatsoever.

Angeles National Forest Loop Fire (1966)

The  Loop Fire was a firefighting accident in the Angeles National Forest (see  10,000 Acres of San Gabriel Mountain Forest Gone Up In Smoke ) that claimed the lives of a dozen firefighters in November 1966.  The day after the disaster a comprehensive study was ordered and you get the results here . It's a quite impressive piece of work and it is still being used half a century later to train firefighters. But an investigation like this should have been ordered after every major forest fire, regardless of whether or not it involved fatalities .
