British Involvement in Bombing Japan

This is an angle you don't often get. Towards the end of the war Japanese soldiers were still fighting all over South East Asia. Japan itself was besieged and defenceless, and Curtis LeMay was firebombing civilians, burning tens of thousands alive, and surprise, surprise, surprise, the Japanese wouldn't surrender.
Look up the history of the Burmah-Siam railway and Mountbatten's attitude towards the Japanese for the way British Prisoners of War were treated whilst working on that railway.
See History of Burmah Oil and Orwell in Burma and Robert I Watson. Then think about this (64 seconds):
Yes, it's Paul and Linda McCartney's retirement fund. Well done.

Peter Kuznick presumably knows all about this because he's a tenured professor of history at American University. Sounds really patriotic, doesn't it?
